Welcoming the new Resort season, I decided to dig into Bergdorf Goodmans’ amazing stock of fashion glory. Here part 1 of my favorite RTW for Resort 2012.

Bottega Veneta: Snap Button Front Gown $4200 - who would’ve thought a black hardware corset belt on a hot pink charmeuse gown?

Burberry Prorsum: Bonded Leather Trenchcoat $4995 - now I think I die for anything this blue, but I think I die even more when it’s a double breasted leather trench with spice details. *Definitely one of the hottest pieces feature.

CH Carolina Herrera: Striped Balloon Sleeve Jacket $1890 - after Lady GaGa wore prison stripes in ‘Telephone’, I can’t stop loving the look. This jacket is definitely everything MOD and versatile for Resort.

Elie Saab: Colorblock Tank Dress $1475 - still high on the failed series ‘The Playboy Club’, I think this dress captures the essence of 60’s sheik and though simple, is without a doubt a perfect Resort throw-on.

Etro: Painterly Paisley Blouse & Wide Leg Pants $795, $730 - every now and then I do enjoy an ugly paisley print, and I think when it comes to paisley, Etro did a wonderful job here. Totally a vacation look: comfortable, bright, and loose.

Givenchy: One Button Zip Collar Jacket & Ruched Top + Two Tone Skirt $2490, $820, $800 :&: Iris Print Jacket & Pencil Skirt $2970, $1495 - if it were up to me, I’d throw the entire Givenchy collection onto this post, but I can’t, so I settled for these two gorgeous looks. Military is always do-able, and the first look does military in the most summery way. The deep green and purple is amazing, and deserving of a walk through Parisian streets. The second incredible look is worthy of a sunny lunch in an Italian field. I can’t explain how much I adore this look. I can’t with it.

Lanvin: Feather Apllique Halter Gown $17050 :&: Rope Shoulder Gown $4990 - if you know me, you know I love Lanvin. Both these gowns are for the romantic night out during your Resort vacay. The red feather redefines a ‘lady in red’ and the Grecian green gown is perfect for any European formal ball.

Missioni: Candore Knit & Emilia Narrow Leg Pants $1090, $620 - who does hot weather looks better than Missioni? This look is the simplest in form and style, and yet brings a whole lot of color to a great comfortable style.
